The Life of Design

An interesting thing about Art + Design is that it is multi-generational. For example, an 80 Year Old and a 20 Year Old could have the same taste for Danish Mid Century Furniture. Both discover it in their own time and in their own unique way. One could have had an item passed down to them in their family, and another could be starting their own collection in their home. And if these two individuals were to meet one day in a serendipitous way, they would have something to connect on at a deeper level.

Art + Design has a way of out living us, and in time comes back to life - like fashion. I feel it is important we keep making art, fashion, and design as a way to tell our stories and connect with one another.
